The Dreadsox played their first season in the Miller Community softball league, with all games played
at the Miller Community Playfield, located next to the
Miller Community Center
in Seattles Capitol Hill neighborhood. The Miller Community playfield is a dirt soccer field, which
can be segmented into 2 fence-less softball fields. Games were routinely played on fields 1 & 2
simultaneously, so outfielders had to be a little conscious of the fact that balls batted from the "other"
softball field had the potential of hitting them in the backside.
