Game Recap:
 The Dreadsox started the 1998 Fall season on the short end of the stick, losing to DPR Construction 14-19. Although they pulled close, the Dreadsox were unable to recover from a 5-0 1st inning debacle. This being the first year of really keeping track of errors, SS Chris “Bootch” Burch wanted to make sure he appeared on the scoresheet, committing 2 of 3 Dreadsox errors by the time the 4th DPR batter stepped to the plate. Bootch gained some retribution through his bat, hitting 3-for-3 with 4 RBI’s, and scoring 2 runs. “Shaggy” Sheri Smith and Kristina “The Club” Coglon made their Dreadsox debuts in splendid fashion, with Sheri going 2-for-3 with 2 RBI’s, and Kristina batting 2-for-2 with 2 runs scored.
