Game Recap:
 The Dreadsox opened their season in grand fashion. They muzzled the Mad Dogs on a cold, windy night with a 27-6 thrashing. Mad Dogs pitcher Patrick Baker (I can tease him a bit, because he’s married to one of my high school friends) struggled through the first inning as the wind blew his pitches out of the umpire’s narrow strike zone and he walked 8 batters. Kurt Hayashida, Stefanie Zabriskie, Jay Matsudaira, Curtis Nakamura, Chris Burch and John Hawkins each had 2 RBI’s in the 14-run inning. The ump decided to stop the game after 3.5 innings, as the score was 27-6 and we needed to get to the second game of the double-header.
