Game Recap:
The Dreadsox perfect season ended quicker than desired, as their second game was
cut short by the umpire deciding to go home. The cold, windy conditions continued
from game 1, as the Dreadsox and Mad Dogs pitchers combined for 17 walks in
the 3-inning game. Eric Shady Shadle provided the highlights of the game.
Staying in the line-up after taking a line-drive off his fingertip during his brief
stint at shortstop in game 1 (his fingernail was practically ripped off), Eric moved
back to center field, where he made a memorable play in the 2nd inning. A ground ball
got through the middle of the infield, so Eric came dashing in to field the ball. He
scooped up the ball, then did his impression of a Montana tumbleweed as he lost his
balance and did a forward roll before throwing to second base. He didnt make
an out or anything, but boy was it memorable! Oh yeah... he also went 2 for 2 with
a double, a homer, and 2 RBIs.
