Game Recap:
 Hungry to play after 4 weeks with no games, the Dreadsox played great defense, committing no errors in an 8-3 victory over Onyx Software. With regular pitcher Sandy “Sander” Hallstrom feeling a bit ill, Kevin “The Joker” Hayashida (aka Bobby H-ayala-shida) made his first pitching start since coming out of retirement. Backed by great (if not lucky) defense, he pitched a 8 hit, 3 run game. The Dreadsox were able to 3-up 3-down the opposition twice in the game, including the seventh inning, when catcher Sue “Big Boss” Foss started the inning by hustling under a short pop-up for the first out of the inning.

Offensively, Cindy “Helmet” Louie continued to improve her swing, batting 3-for-5 with a run scored. Jay “J-Bang” Matsudaira also batted well with a 2-for-3 outing with 2 RBI’s on a first inning double.

The Dreadsox also welcomed Marc “Psycho” Nagel to his first game with the Dreadsox. Marc caught everything thrown at him at first base, and batted 1-for-2 with an RBI.
