Game Recap:
The Dreadsox fell off their undefeated high horse with a hefty thud in the first game
of the double header vs Suds. The Dreads were never able to get their bats going, and faced a very
solid defensive team, which resulted in a 11-0 shutout. The Dreads safely reached third base only
once, and only got as far as second base 3 times... kinda like Anthony Michael Halls character
in the 1982 John Hughes film, Sixteen Candles. Kurt Lil Hurt Hayashida
and Vince Snagglepuss Brooks made the most of their at-bats, as they accounted for 4 of
the 7 Dreadsox hits.
Defensive Play of the Game:
The Dreadsox held Suds scoreless in the 3rd inning, as they retired the side 1-2-3.
Offensive Play of the Game:
Uh... still looking for it.
Laugh of the Game:
LF Jay J-Bang Matsudaira chased a fly ball into foul territory, and appeared to maybe
have a chance to make a play on the ball when he tripped over his own feet, causing him to sprawl
onto his chest in what looked like a diving attempt that fell about 4 feet short.
